I’ve played a bit of Wii — namely Trauma Center — in the past few weeks but only the Xbox 360 has been able to keep my attention. That is, until flOw. Based on Jenova Chen’s MFA thesis called Flow in Games, the original flash (which I really enjoyed playing last year) has been adapted into what may be the best, most original gameplay experience on the PS3 right now. Think Snake meets Spore. Basically you play a growing, polymorphic sea bug swimming into the depths of the deep ocean in search of food — which in 1080p looks absolutely astounding. It’s one of those titles that reminds me of why I used to love games so much back in the day. free game download: intihuatani.usc.edu/cloud/flowing/www.ryanablock.com/archive/2007/02/flow-is-the-ps3s-killer-app-right-now/
