Given that the Sony's PlayStation 3 launch is looming in Australia, it only makes sense for Microsoft to counter attack with a new bundle deal. Their preferred mode of pimpage? The best-selling Gears of War. From this Thursday, gamers will be able to bag an Xbox 360 premium and a copy of the over-the-shoulder shooter, GoW, for AU 699.95 Here are the obligatory comments from a company PR entity. Nick Segger, Xbox Group Marketing Manager says: The Gears of War bundle represents exceptional value for money. The Xbox 360 console comes with a complimentary one-month Xbox Live Gold account so you can experience the action-packed intensity of Gears of War straight out of the box. New Xbox 360 gamers will be able to discover why it has become one of the fastest-selling games of all time. We now wonder if Sony can afford to bundle a few games with their console just to match Microsoft's move. Article: feeds.feedburner.com/~r/qj/qjnet/~3/101029601/85791
