Given that the Sony's PlayStation 3 launch is looming in Australia, it only makes sense for Microsoft to counter attack with a new bundle deal. Their preferred mode of pimpage? The best-selling Gears of War. From this Thursday, gamers will be able to bag an Xbox 360 premium and a copy of the over-the-shoulder shooter, GoW, for AU 699.95
Here are the obligatory comments from a company PR entity. Nick Segger, Xbox Group Marketing Manager says:

We now wonder if Sony can afford to bundle a few games with their console just to match Microsoft's move.
