A School in Linconshire, UK, has BANNED children playing physical games in the playground because “pupils were copying violent computer games, making playtime too rough”. Games such as "tag" and "kiss chase" are now BANNED in the school playground due to their links with violent video games, despite being invented before video games existed. "children like to play, they like to run and jump, and this causes them to fall, trip and graze their knees… it’s exactly like in Counter-strike." Said thankfully no one at all. "I watch my son play these violent games and I see them chasing terrorists to stop them planting a bomb… That’s exactly like chasing girls round a playground to kiss them on the cheek, the link cannot be denied" Football and cricket were not BANNED in the school, as no links between sport and video games or sport and violence could be found.
