Question: Do you believe a 2D RPG for the PC would do well in the shareware market with nice graphics if the gameplay is top notch. Answer: Absolutely. If you find the right market, have top notch game play I see no reason why it couldn’t do well. If you have the patience and skill to make it sell, I’m sure it will. But more important question is - do you believe it could sell? www.gameproducer.net/2006/07/24/301/

Most of Project Sim Kite is 2D, and I was/am considering making all three modes 2D. It would make the game a ton easier to make, and I do believe it would sell decently. I believe this because games are expensive, and If one can find a game that's just as fun as a new X360 release, without it costing 60 bucks, then it will make the game even MORE fun because it was inexpensive. That's why the Wii is going to wipe the floor with the competition.

And this is where the success comes in. When the project leader is fully convinced the game will sell, he/she will make every effort to encourage and lead the team to that goal. Not to mention that he/she will work every possible way to ensure the success.
You have to believe it, to achieve it!
