What do those women think they're doing playing our video games? They needn't learn how to drive a motor vehicle, or fire semi-automatic weapons, or help juggle the economy of a burgeoning metropolis. Men's business, that. Serious stuff. No, what they need is to be reminded of their place. And a woman's place is in the kitchen. Learning about cooking, cleaning, sewing, that's what the fairer sex should be devoting their precious leisure time towards. Which is where Housewife Superstar comes in. An upcoming DS game by startup devs Studio Nocturne, it strives to teach women how to be the perfect housewife. Cleaning, embroidery, flower arrangements...all there, all vitally important. Brandon over at insert credit met with the developers yesterday at GDC and says "It looks really fun to play, and the story bits are definitely inspired by Ouendan, which isn't so bad". Nope, sounds good to me. PS - Yes, the game is very tongue-in-cheek.
