Australian video games conference details announced The School of Information Technology at Murdoch University Australia has announced that the International Conference on CyberGames and Interactive Entertainment 2006 (CGIE2006) will be held on 4-6 December 2006 in Perth, Western Australia. The two day event will provide professionals, researchers, and developers an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the latest developments in the game industry, network with academic and industry practitioners and explore future business opportunities. Delegates in the areas of digital games, media and content in Australia and internationally will be invited to attend CGIE 2006. This is a strategic event at which professionals and researchers can present their exciting innovations and latest works. CGIE 2006 will also act as a forum to facilitate international collaboration in research and development in these fast emerging areas. CGIE 2006 will feature invited lectures and discussions on game development topics in the areas of game design, technology and art.
