these functions like many of the section are geographically-specific for their location.
it's a good and bad situation:
bad - you don't have the convenience of them "touring" to your local major city.
good - a good chance to travel and experience the culture and regional activities of that area
i wouldn't worry, there are plenty of conventions around us.
