Year: 2004 Host: Greg Palmer A light-hearted look at the worldwide phenomenon of video games, and how they have revolutionized technology and forever changed popular culture.NOTE - I have yet to see this film and would like to. Main reason is that Shigeru Miyamoto is interviewed here! Anyone who has it or knows where to get it, I would appreciate if you share the wealth. www.pbs.org/kcts/videogamerevolution/

I have just finished viewing this vid, and I must say it is another welcome addition to our ever growing library here.
While it was not so much on the history timeline, it did discuss on issues such as violence, education, companionship, tournaments and the ever expanding on online connectivity.
Miyamoto-san's interview was a joy to see(I wanted to hear him, not the translator!) and it gives greater insight of the man known as "God's gift to video games".
All in all, I recommend viewing and even purchasing the video at the PBS/Ch. 9 store. A definite resource and tool for all game developers.
