Buried amidst yet another frighteningly thorough run-down of sales figures on Gamasutra were these percentages to my right (your...right), showing the average spending on video games per head of population in the UK, USA and Canada. While the increased cost of gaming in the UK exaggerates that figure somewhat (currency exchange rate, taxes and whatnot), even taking that into account it still puts the Brits ahead. Do not as many Americans play video games? Or does British weather keeping everyone inside for 9 months of the year have anything to do with it?
