Getting imports can be rough. While there are places like Play-Asia and NCSX where you can purchase games, what do you do if you’re done playing Jump Superstars or your import copy of Phoenix Wright 2? SaySwap dropped us a line to talk about a solution to the problem, their trading community. Unlike other communities, they have import games in their database along with popular games like Gears of War, Ar Tonelico and Twilight Princess. Here is how the whole system works: 1.) Send out games that you want to trade to other people to earn purchase points. 2.) Use these purchase points along with a trading token (costs around $5) to cover shipping costs to get games from other people Alternatively, you can also set up direct trades with people so if you want to pawn off a copy of Devil May Cry for Bleach DS that is totally up to you. When you sign up you get 20 purchase points right away so you can get a (nearly) free game, you just have to get a trading token. Just cue up games that you want in your list and wait for someone to send you one of them. As a bonus SaySwap is offering buy one get one free trading tokens for all Siliconera users during GDC week (read: this week!). Also I have a brand new copy of .hack://G.U. Vol. 1 Rebirth that I’m going to give to someone who signs up during their promotion. www.siliconera.com/index.php/2007/03/02/giveaway-to-kick-off-siliconera-and-sayswaps-import-game-trading-community/
