Question: What are affiliate programs? Answer: Affiliate programs is a deal between parties where one party sells or refers people to buy the products of the other party. For example: my online multiplayer game portal is using affiliate programs to sell other developers products. The idea of affiliate program is to generate value for everybody involved. My portal for example has the following main idea: - The developers get more money as new players (who wouldn’t otherwise heard about the game) buy their game - Players get value: they hear about new games - I get value: money for referring people to buy games. It’s win-win-win situation for everybody. Here’s some affiliate programs I’m using to make money online: - Text Link Ads (to refer people to earn money online) - Plimus to sell games at celtichill.com - ShareIt to sell products at gameproducer.net There are plenty of affiliate options in the net. Just do a google search and you’ll find plenty of information about affiliates. Tomorrow you can read my post about ‘How to make money with affiliate programs’.
